Greenwood Real Estate Listings

Greenwood is a nieghborhood located in North Seattle.  Originally named Woodland, the neighborhood became Greenwood in 1907.  The boundaries of Greeenwood are 99 to the East, 8th. to the West, 105th. to the North, and 80th. to the south.

Greenwood has a down-to-earth appeal for many of its residents. There are numerous bars, restaurants, coffee houses, and specialty stores along Greenwood Avenue, especially between North 85th Street and North 87th Street. For those who love art, there are dozens of art galleries and shops in Greenwood. There is an art walk that goes from Greewood and continues up to Phinney Ridge every 2nd Friday of each month.  Greenwood also has several excellent restaurants, including Mr. Gyros, Aloha Ramen, & Snoose Junction.  For residents who choose not to drive, the Metro bus lines pass through Greenwood on two different routes


Greenwood Seattle Real Estate Market
As of early January of 2011 there were about 30 homes on the market for sale.  Average Square footage was 1848 Square feet and the average asking price was around $400,000.
For the last 6 months around 40 homes have sold, average square. footage was 1848 Sq feet, average sold price was $372,196, and homes were selling for $218 per sq. feet on the average.
On average buyers can expect to negotiate about 3% on the asking price.
